What a fantastic afternoon of music and friendship we had today at the Resurrection of Dr. B’s Acoustic Medicine Show at the Free Times Cafe. Great players, and great attendance! Players included Glen Hornblast and Jo-Anne Park who both did a great job on sound, plus Liam Kearney, Mark Denington, Linda Saslove coming out of retirement, the always culinary excitable Mark Yan, Michael Schatte, Jerry Rush, Roger Zuraw, sitting in on harp Robert Davis. The surprise of the day was the 11 year old Brighid Fry who did a few of her own original tunes to a mesmerized audience. I got home about 2 hours ago, and the energy from the room is still reverberating around my body! And the good thing is that we get to do it all again next week, same time, same venue! Thanks to all who came out.
