Canadian Musician Nov 2001- Although 1/2 of the CD contain percussion there’s defiantly an acoustic feel to this album. Tree hugging Simon & Garfunkle unplugged hanging with Boxcar Willie can best sum up the sound. Sounds weird doesn’t it, but it really isn’t. Stand out tracks include I LIKE ME and MEGA CITY MEL with interesting lyrics on the afore mentioned and SAVE THE WOLVERINE. Brian is best when off on his quirky tangents and not taking himself very seriously.
