As an attendee of the original Woodstock Festival, 50 years ago, I'm happy to be included in two separate Woodstock events this weekend. Hey there Folks: I'm having a Birthday Bash Benefit Concert for the WYCHWOOD OPEN DOOR on Saturday Jan. 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the TRANZAC TIKI ROOM - it's just a little get-together with my friends and tying it in to a good cause, namely helping my local Soup Kitchen which is sort of what Wychwood Open Door is - which I try to have a benefit for once a year - a place where homeless and poor people can go for a decent meal and warm embrace; I'm providing a House Band and a HOUSE GUITAR - so you don't have to bring yours!

There is a memorial concert hosted by Mike Mckenna & the Slidewinder Blues Band March 24, 2019 at Black Swan Tavern starting at 4:00 till around 8:00. Hope to see you there. The Tin Pan North Festival is happening at the Free Times Cafe and other venues next Thursday-Friday, May 23-24th - there are two sets a night and I'm delighted to be in great company (SEE POSTER BELOW FOR DETAILS). The Format is a Songwriters' Round Nashville - style. On the Thursday night, Chris Burkett and David Baxter will be the Hosts of their sets. Chris Burkett is the 2019 Juno winner for Best Producer in the Roots field - and David Baxter is an award-winning producer/songwriter - who just happened to produce my First CD entitled "Once In A Blue Moon". BE IN MY NEXT VIDEO ! - You are invited to be in my next video. We are shooting it at Riverdale Farm Toronto on Saturday Oct 5th. Its for my song 'Behind the Maple Leaf Slaughterhouse Doors', which was written to encourage kindness to animals and avoid cruelty. I want this video to be the next Vegan Anthem. CHILDREN are especially welcomed, and we want to get some shots of the young ones interacting with some of the animals. We can meet up at the front entrance at 10:45 AM. If you miss us, just look around - its a small place! The video will be shot by Glen Hornblast and Harpin Norm Lucien, and is produced and directed by Glen Hornblast
