What a wonderful day of music we had yesterday (Apr 11) at Dr. B’s Acoustic Medicine Show at the Free Times Cafe . Players included Rocket Roger Zuraw and his six string band of merry men, Wayne Neon, Steve Raiken, first timer and emerging star 13 year old Ray Berry, Glen Hornblast who filmed a portion for his upcoming documentary,
Sharron Katz gets busted at Dr. B’s – but not really.
Dwight Peters (back half of the dream team Sue and Dwight) lovely Nicole Gauthier , David McLachlan , first timers David Dedourek and Marcus Schwan, and of course the dynamic duo of Linda Saslove and Sharron Katz aka Lucie and Ethel. Aside from players we had a good audience of non-musicians whom I like to refer to as ‘normal humans’ including wonderful Victoria Lidia Ilgacs with camera in hand, accompanied by her entourage. The audience was quiet and attendive through out the afternoon. Thanks to Jacob who sat in on fiddle for a few sets – wish I got your contact info. And the great thinks is we do it all again next week. Thanks to all the ‘Dr. B Heads’
